Job Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of our Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development and experience managing complex technical projects. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the timely completion of our AI-related initiatives, while working closely with engineering, product, and other stakeholders. Job Responsibilities
- Lead Cross-functional Teams: Coordinate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of Generative AI projects.
- Manage Project Scope and Timeline: Develop project plans, track progress, and manage changes to ensure on-time delivery of project milestones.
- Facilitate Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment between teams.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential blockers are addressed proactively to keep projects on track.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical insights during project discussions, helping teams make informed decisions on architecture, integration, and system design.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the end product meets quality standards and aligns with project requirements by coordinating testing and validation efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements for project management within the organization, identifying areas to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally in software development or AI-related projects.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing cloud-based software projects, with familiarity in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Experience working with AI technologies and model orchestration.
- Ability to use AI-driven tools to facilitate project management processes.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
Travel Expectations: Quarterly travel for in-person team meetings is required.
